MOSAÎQ Multicultural Festival
We are looking for up to 20 volunteer photographers to cover the various events during the MOSAÏQ Multicultural Festival that will be held in downtown Moncton on July 19 and 20, 2019. If you like cultural or event photography, this is for you, regardless of your level of experience.
The festival is where the world comes to celebrate, eat, dance, sing and learn. There will be a parade, music venues and the Festival’s World Village with artisan vendors, multicultural exhibits and a variety of international foods.
The lead photographer for the event is Stephen R. Conrad who did a presentation on cultural and events photography at one of our meetings in March 2019.
If interested, please register no later than May 31, 2019. Once registered and when closer to the event date, you will receive an email with a meeting point at the festival.
Volunteers will receive a T-shirt so they can be identified as festival photographers.

All Nations Pow Wow in Fundy National Park.
There will be music, food, dances and song of New Brunswick's indigenous people.
Activities include drumming, traditional dancing, indigenous craft and art sales and food.

This is a HANDS ON outing, through specific exercises and challenges, members will learn about Shutter Speed and Aperture and ISO and put to practice the material learned in the off week sessions with Mathieu Chiasson.
Advanced photographers will be available to guide the beginner photographers and answer their questions.
