Guided Nature Walk: Saint-Antoine
Nov. 2, 2025 9-11 am
4269 Route 115, Notre-Dame
Danielle Léger has kindly invited the Focus Camera Club – Moncton for a guided walk on their beautiful property in Saint-Antoine. The land spans over 200 acres, and they are in the early stages of developing part of it into a wellness retreat. One of their goals is to explore innovative ecological construction techniques onsite for their buildings, such as using hemp-based masonry blocks (also known as Hempblocks). The purpose of this guided walk is to introduce members to their trails, which feature a scenic 2 km loop. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities for woodland photography, capturing images of a small stream in its autumn setting, and photographing a few relics of the past—including old abandoned cars and a historic railway structure. Location: 4269 Route 115, Notre-Dame from 9am to 11am. Date: November 2, 2025.
We hope you’ll join us for this enjoyable walk in the woods and a chance to explore new photographic opportunities!
Note: Some members may want to bring rubber boots, as the grass can be wet in the morning on the trail. Also, if you have trekking poles or hiking sticks, they could be handy when walk around some sites.
