• Monochrome (CAPA).  Deadline: October 15th.

• The mineral world (rocks, sand, cliffsides, geological formations, etc.). Deadline: November 15th.

• Fences (agricultural fences, industrial fencing, decorative fences, fencing of all kinds really).  Deadline: December 15th.

• Triptychs. Dealine: January 15th.

• From sunset to sunrise (blue hours – the hour following sunset and the hour preceding sunrise; astrophotography; fireworks; car light trails; brightly lit streets, etc.). Deadline: February 15th.

• Atlantic Zone Competition (CAPA). Deadline: February 15th.

• Winter (a very general topic that serves as an encouragement to get out in the cold). Deadline: March 15th.

• Canada My Country (CAPA). Deadline: March 15th.

• Open (anything goes). Deadline: April 15th.

• Ken Dunphy Award (best landscape).  Deadline: April 15th.

• Brian Townsend Illuminator Award (image with a message). Deadline: May 15th. 

• Freeman Patterson Fine Art Award (theme TBA). Deadline: May 15th.
