Photo Exhibit Nicolas Blouin (FCC Member)
Please join us at the Photo Moncton Wall of Fame Gallery on September 6th from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Blue Cross Center to meet photographer Nicolas Blouin at the opening of his new photographic effort, “FIGURES”.
Through his observation, Nicolas captured moments of heightened intimacy where he tends to entice the viewer yet suggest a sense of solitude.
Nicolas certainly pushes the limits of exposure to express the real and the fictional blurring into a fractured narrative that is disorienting and unforgettable.
The curious eye of the photographer moved effortlessly and playfully between documentary, street photography and art.

Watercolour in the rain / Aquarelle sous la pluie
January 15th through January 25th, 2018
ASSUMPTION PLACE L'ASSOMPTION
770 rue Main St, Moncton, NB
Dear friends,
I'm excited to invite you to an exhibition of my photographs, “Watercolour in the rain”, showing January 15th through February 27th.
Natural settings and urban areas inspires much of my image making, where I attempt to explore the interaction between light and shadow performing in graceful harmony. This journey led me to create the collection “Watercolour in the rain”, and it expresses the inspiration I get from creating graphic photographs through the reflective colours rainy weather can display.

Chers amis,

WATERCOLOUR IN THE RAIN - AQUARELLE SOUS LA PLUIE
Maison TAIT House - 293 Main St, Shediac, NB
The collection will show for the months of October, November and December.
For the “Watercolour in the rain” project, I invested countless hours contemplating how to photograph my interpretation of the peaceful and magical side of rainy climate, using bold contrasting light and dark colours to evoke a tranquil state of calm within the chaos of rainy and windy weather. With this assignment, my aim is to create compositions that stimulate contemplation.
Reflections, movement and multiple exposures led me to connect with the theme and capture fragments of reality that we often overlook

EXHIBIT OPENING "GHOST IN THE MACHINE" Robert LeBlanc
The public is invited to view the art exhibit Ghost in the Machine by photographer Robert LeBlanc in the Capitol Art Gallery. This will be the first exhibit to take place in the newly renovated Capitol Art Gallery, located in the lobby of the Capitol Theatre.
Robert LeBlanc, originally from Memramcook, has had a fascination for photography since a very young age. A proficient musician by trade, he began to take photography more seriously in the late seventies.
Ghost in the Machine
For this exhibit, the artist explored abstraction, producing work that is more about texture, color and composition. “I employed closely cropped pictures, creating ...vibrant images resembling abstract paintings. Viewers will identify with different elements in each photograph. Where some may see faces, others may connect to a feeling of space and time”, said LeBlanc.
